Fox Theatre’s Visionary Resigns

Herb Stratford, the man who breathed life into Tucson’s Fox Theatre, has resigned and will be out of the Fox Theatre Organization next month. It’s incredible to think of what this man has done for Downtown Tucson. The Fox Theatre was a staple in Tucson’s entertainment offerings back in the day, but it was closed from 1974. You have to understand that this establishment was left for dead, but after Stratford restored it, it became the venue that entertainers who came to Tucson wanted to perform in.

Thank you, Herb Stratford, for your contribution to the city of Tucson.
